Safe Cutting on Steep Slopes and Maneuvering on Difficult Terrain

Aebi New England mowed this Merrimack, NH landfill. Although the slope was steep, the ground cover sparse, and the soil soaking wet, note that the Terratrac used left little more than tire tracks.

Make no mistake about it: safety is our first concern and we are fully insured. We will tackle your mowing jobs that exceed the limitations and capacities of your equipment. Aebi designed equipment enables us work safely where you may not. The Terratrac line of tractors is a product of outstanding Swiss engineering applied to the problem of working in difficult conditions, on challenging terrain, and in all weather.

Two principal characteristics of Terratracs are an extremely low center of gravity and an almost square wheelbase. These characteristics makes them the ideal tractor for working on steep slopes. The infinitely variable hydrostatic transmission and four available change-on-the-fly steering modes (front, rear, all-wheel, crab-mode) afford the tractors unparalleled maneuvering ability. The all-around view from the cabin gives the operator a clear look at all the wheels, the equipment in operation, and the terrain being navigated.

Soil and Ground Protection

Terratracs are equipped with high-volume low-pressure tires that have a huge gripping area. Dual tires can be easily attached to further reduce ground pressure. Combined with low vehicle weight and the ability to maneuver gently, these features ensure protection of soil layers and ground cover. You won't find a better tractor for handling sandy soil or wet ground cover.

Overgrown and Heavy Vegetation

If your mowing schedule has slipped, allowing brush and vegetation to grow beyond the capabilities of your equipment, we will help you bring that growth back under control. For this type of work, there is simply no substitute for lots of raw horsepower behind an aggressive mower. Our 95-HP Terratracs will power the flail mower needed to tame your jungle. We can mulch the heavy vegetation and leave it evenly distributed.

Partial Mowing of Difficult Terrain

This section of a landfill is an example of terrain you may want a Terratrac to handle.

If it suits your needs, we would be glad to take on just the difficult spots of your mowing jobs rather than the entire job. In addition to the capabilities described above, we can also carry a flail mower over stone lined ditch edges, thus minimizing the manual labor needed to finish the job with weed whacking.

Weed Whacking

In addition to tractor mowing, we can provide weed whacking services as a finishing touch to mowing.
