Terratrac TT240

Aebi launched its newest midrange special-purpose tractor in early September, 2006. The TT240 implement carrier, as with all models in the Terratrac line, is exceptionally agile while working on steeply sloping terrain. The wide range of implements you can use with the Terratrac TT240 give it unmatched versatility for working in all seasons. The tractor is outfitted with large turf tires that minimize disturbance of the soil structure. The TT240 has the same comfortable ride and ease of operation as the larger Terratrac models.

With the Terratrac TT240, Aebi is establishing new benchmarks in the midrange specialized tractor segment. The TT240 is as well equipped as the bigger Terratrac models and gives you their proven design features in a smaller footprint. Although the external dimensions are more compact, the driver's cab is spacious and the simple logical arrangement of operational controls is an essential factor for safety when working on difficult terrain.

The turbocharged 4-cylinder Detroit Diesel VM engine delivers an impressive 80hp of solid power for use on the front and rear PTO's. The hydrostatic traction drive is continuously adjustable via the multifunctional control lever. Being able to control forward or reverse motion as well as 24 functions with one hand is a real boon to the driver.

In both design and technical terms, this new Terratrac TT240 is based on the exceptionally successful and proven top-of-the-range model, the TT270. For example, it has all-wheel, front steering, rear steering and crab steering, any of which can be selected at the touch of a button. Standard equipment includes an onboard computer that lets the operator monitor operational functions.

The TT240 offers the outstanding features of the larger Terratrac models for the case where a smaller sized tractor is needed, but versatility and capability have not been sacrificed. The front and rear hydraulics each have a lifting capacity of over 3000 pounds. Whether maintaining steep embankments with a flail mower, cutting grass on sports fields and parks with a rotary mower, aerating golf courses or snow clearance with a snow plough or snow blower in winter, the new compact design Terratrac Aebi TT240 is almost unstoppable, whatever the conditions.
